What data we process
Data you send through the contact form or by email: name, company or organisation, email, phone, topic and message.
Technical browsing data: the web server automatically logs IP address, date and time, requested page and browser, for security and correct operation. The site uses no analytics or profiling tools.
Why and on what legal basis
- To answer your request and, if you ask, prepare a quote: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Site security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Legal obligations, such as tax rules, if the request becomes an assignment (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
We do not use your data for newsletters or marketing without specific, separate consent.
How long
Contact requests that do not become an assignment are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Data linked to an assignment follow Italian tax retention periods (10 years). Server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider, normally no longer than 6 months.
Who may receive it
Data is processed by the controller and by providers acting as processors: the website hosting provider [hosting name to be completed] and Google Ireland Ltd for the email service that receives messages. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell or hand over data to third parties.
Your rights
You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to holographics.it@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
